01 / SCOPE

Project overview

InnerDigital will design, install and configure the technology for the 40-room hotel, Onyx Gallery and ground-floor tenants. The project includes a UniFi network with separate access for each business, building-wide Wi-Fi, four equipment racks with battery backup, a 10Gb fiber backbone and 217 certified network drops. We will also supply and install 50 Yealink phones and 40 wired 65-inch Smart TVs, then test the systems and train staff. Ongoing managed IT and voice services provide support after opening.

ROOM COUNT TO CONFIRM

Pricing assumes 20 rooms on each hotel floor. The revised second-floor plan supports 20 rooms; a revised third-floor plan is still needed. Confirm room numbering, outlet locations, rack spaces and the service address before installation.

Includes cable, jacks, plates, patch panels, patch cords, standard supports, installation, labeling and certification. The 10 business phones use outlets within the ground-floor allowance.

Separate networks (VLANs)

Ten network segments keep hotel, guest, gallery and tenant traffic separate. Access between segments is blocked unless approved.

Includes 10 fiber modules and 3 local DAC cables. Copper accessories are included in drop pricing; passive fiber components are included in the fiber installation price.

Capacity, security and testing details

Switch capacity: 312 access ports; 222 planned connections leave 90 spare. New outlets still need cabling.
Wi-Fi planning: 1,000 connected devices / 500 active users. Survey and load testing will confirm coverage; these are design targets.
Acceptance: target −67 dBm coverage and 25 dB signal-to-noise ratio in agreed areas; test roaming, isolation and Internet failover. Certify all copper links and test fiber loss.
Cabling: maximum 90 m permanent copper link / 100 m total channel. Use wired AP backhaul; wireless mesh only where the survey supports it.
Power: 4,720 W total switch PoE capacity; approximately 1,377 W planned endpoint load. Verify each rack’s load and UPS runtime. Each UPS is limited to 1,000 W and provides short outage protection.
Limits: one gateway and one fully occupied aggregation switch; hardware redundancy and long-duration backup power are additional. Confirm carrier handoff compatibility. Outdoor and elevator coverage are excluded.

Phone service requirements

Confirm the compatible phone platform and carrier before purchase. Test direct 911 dialing, front-desk notification and room/floor location with the provider.

PMS integration, wake-up calls, call accounting, emergency-location licenses, porting and extra numbers require a separate provider quote. Emergency-calling compliance requires provider validation.

Installation includes mounting, LAN connection, basic setup and testing. The builder supplies wall support and electrical outlets.

TV selection and guest accounts

Confirm mount compatibility and commercial-use warranty before ordering. This allowance covers consumer Smart TVs; hotel management features and automated guest-account resets are not included.

Use a guest-account reset process at checkout. Streaming subscriptions, content licenses, coax distribution and secure room casting are additional; guest casting stays disabled until separately configured.

Support: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern, excluding holidays. After-hours escalation for property-wide network or phone outages.

Support terms and exclusions

Proposed response targets: 60 minutes for critical outages and four business hours for standard issues. These are acknowledgment targets; the signed service agreement governs.

Guest devices, tenant computers, onsite repairs, major projects, replacement hardware, PMS/POS support, Microsoft 365, server/SaaS backup and excess storage are separately scoped. Unlimited 24/7 guest support is excluded. Confirm the final computer and backup inventory before contracting.

06 / DELIVERY

Installation and handover

InnerDigital provides

Site survey and final equipment/outlet schedule.
Copper and fiber installation, labeling and test reports.
Network configuration, phone setup and TV installation.
Coverage and isolation checks, provider-coordinated calling tests, port maps, secure credentials and staff training.

Owner / builder provides

Final plans, room numbers and approved equipment locations.
Secure, cooled rack spaces, electrical power and TV blocking.
Conduit, sleeves, coring, firestopping and wall/ceiling repairs.
Internet service and required software/content licenses. Hazardous-material work, unusual lifts and after-hours construction access are excluded.

Next step: a coordinated site walk to confirm the final layout and installation scope.

Proposed billing: 40% at equipment release, 40% after rough-in and 20% at acceptance. Monthly services begin at handover. Timing depends on construction readiness and equipment availability.
